Skill Combinations For PVP, Strategy

HOC Heroes Of Order And Chaos: Demon Hunter (Bounty Hunter) Lebmont Guide

Attacking Strategy (level 5 and below)
  1. Attack with normal attacks till enemy Hero's HP is less than 1/3.
  2. Use Piercing Shot.
Normal Attacks (till enemy Hero's HP less than 1/3) > Piercing Shot

Attacking Strategy (level 6 and above)
  1. Attack with normal attacks till enemy Hero's HP is less than 1/2.
  2. Use Piercing Shot.
  3. Use Hunter's Mark to finish enemy Hero.
Normal Attacks (till enemy Hero's HP less than 1/2) > Piercing Shot > Hunter's Mark

Saving Hunter's Mark for last is useful for finishing off enemies that try to run when their HP is low. Once activated, the skill is able to shoot surprisingly far.

Recommended Items
  • Face Breaker
  • Jade Axe
  • Iron Claymore
  • Blessed Bracers
  • Silver Spear
  • Fury Blades
  • Longbow of the Shadows
  • Ring of Awakening
Face Breakers are very useful to have, they increase your attack damage substantially at a very reasonable cost. They also provide the base for more expensive upgrades which you will need later in the game.

Jade Axe is available as an upgrade to the Face Breaker, it reduces the enemy's Physical Defense which means you'll do more damage.

Iron Claymore's are for pure damage, Lebmont's skills are all Physical Attack based, items like Face Breakers and Iron Claymores make your skills more deadly.

Blessed Bracers are available as an upgrade to the Iron Claymore, more money but more damage with some extra HP.

Silver Spear  increases damage as well as critical attack rate, it also pierces through the enemy's defense, which means even more damage.

Fury Blades increase your attack speed by a bit, they're extremely cheap for a +20% attack speed boost.

Longbow of the Shadows is available as an upgrade to the Silver Spear and Fury Blades, it provides additional armour piercing which means even more damage.

Ring of Awakening provides a reduction of skill cooldown time. Which means you'll be able to use your skills more often, which means more kills! It also comes with some MP regeneration and increases your Max MP a bit. It's extremely cheap for such a great item.

Item Purchase Strategy
  1. Buy 3 Face Breakers (extra damage is very important when playing Lebmont)
  2. Upgrade 2 Face Breakers to 1 Jade Axe.
  3. Buy 1 Iron Claymore.
  4. Buy 1 Silver Spear.
  5. Buy 1 Fury Blades.
  6. Buy 1 Ring of Awakening.
  7. Upgrade 1 Silver Spear and 1 Fury Blades to 1 Longbow of the Shadows.
  8. Buy 1 Iron Claymore.
  9. Upgrade all Iron Claymores to Blessed Bracers.
We have found this strategy to be the most effective with Lebmont as it maintains a balance of pure damage and armour piercing while maximising the limited gold that is available.

  1. Such Stupid guide. Always start with Hunters Mark as soon as available. It gives you a 20% dmg boost, this should be followed by piercing shot, so both the 20% and the 50% boots accumulate. Only thing to know about this hero and you didnt mention it. Just dont do the guide if its going to be that bad. Sorry for my harsh critic but...

    1. hmm..this isn't harsh criticism, it's outright rude. Still, I'll explain why Hunter's Mark shouldn't be used at the start. Hunter's Mark takes extremely long to use, by the time you finish using Hunter's Mark, many Heroes like Kuirras or Ihaelryna will have reduced your HP by at least half if not more. If you use your tactic, piercing shot will be the last thing you do before you die.

Against other Heroes without closing skills or blink, Hunter's Mark takes so long that they'll just run away. All you would have done is given yourself a few seconds reprieve while they wait for Hunter's Mark to wear off. And when they come back for you, you'll have one less damage skill to use.

The only people your tactic would work against are new players who don't know what Hunter's Mark does. For players with a few games under their belt, they'll use either of the tactics I just mentioned.

Hunter's Mark has an extremely long range after it targets and does high damage and that's why it should be used as a finishing move when many players with low HP will likely try to run away.

    2. Agree with Nick, being myself an Hunter player, it’s very important to quick rise damage and piercing shot, since the damage is a percentage of your normal shot. Speed comes later, with a good start I kill players with piercing when they have half of hits points. The piercing shot has a good range, once fired run as much as you want … the bullet will catch you. The only thing this article misses is a word about armor, many, many games won because I buy armor.

    3. Good tip about the armour! I didn't mention it because the type of armour and when it's bought depends on how the enemy team plays and which heroes they're using. We ended up tying our brains in a knot trying to figure out where to include it in the game guides..lol..maybe we should do a post on armour..=)

    1. Hi! We've owned and been owned by so many Heroes that it's really difficult to say who the best Hero is. If you enjoy getting tons of kills Demon Hunter is a good choice. Kuirras, Ihaelryna and Kagax are also good options for that.

It can be really tough saving up for that specific Hero that you want but you're almost halfway there, you'll get your Demon Hunter before you know it. =)

    2. I think evry hero has plus minus..its just up to you which battle style interest u the most.. it doesnt mean expensive hero always win against cheaper one.. i used ihaelryna win against lebmont here..sometimes more experience player used them better, i lose..

  3. Thanks Nick i am going to save up for demon hunter from the beginning he was my favourite! if you don't mind can you also please do a guide about Arcane warrior (Vigelos) i am very curios about him and his powers because no one also made a video or a guide about him but i am sure you can because for the weekly heroes of used inqusitor and i saw your guide to him and now i can control him really good! Also i did the same with my dark elf and also if you don't mind please make a guide of kagax because he is a beast when you can control him good! i used the inqusitor items for him but then i realised that he needs atleat 2 watchers whisper and atleast 1 hades armor.... thanks Nick i really enjoy going to this website and checking your latests updates. I hope you can make a guide about arcane warrior and reborn tyrant! =P

  4. Does it need a stunning or slowing item so the enemy dont run?

    1. You can definitely modify our item guide to suit the different situations that you'll face. =)

Stunning or slowing items are definitely useful depending on the playing style of your opponents and your team mates. If you team up with stunners for example you won't need stunning or slowing items. If your teammates are uncooperative however, stunning or slowing items become more of a priority.

  5. I've just bought deamon hunter! And I am used to kick ass with the elf as many others. Its a bit different playing hunter. As the guide says its importand to get high damage!

Am I getting it all wrong if I say that Deamon Hunter is more of an assist hero in the begining but as he lvls up and get more PA he will get more kills too?

    1. Grats on Demon Hunter! You got him pretty fast!

You're right, Demon Hunter can occasionally have some problems early game since he doesn't have any stuns or slows and you'll really have to rely on lowering your enemy's HP enough to finish him off with Piercing Shot when he runs, if he teams up with stunners like ihaelryna or kuirras especially at the beginning it will be much easier to kill enemy heroes.

    2. now that i got demon hunter i don't really like him that much so i need you help who is easier to handle so you can kill a lot of heroes the nomad assasin, reborn tyrant or inquistor

      Delete
    3. All three heroes that you picked are good choices, but I'd have to go with Kagax. I believe that with everything being equal (amount of gold earned, level, talents & tablets), Reborn Tyrant will be able to win a 1 on 1 fight with either Nomad Assassin or Inquisitor because of his ultimate and super run speed.

The main problem with picking either of these three heroes and demon hunter is that many players know how powerful these Heroes can be and they're likely to gang up to bully you to prevent you from levelling.

  6. Kuirras is a real good hero for damage and getting loads of kills. this could be a hero to start with if you want a good fighter (same for ihaelryna, but i prefer kuirras for more damage and defense).

Lebmont is a strong fighter even in the beginning of the game, build-up with kagax, debronee and agdiroussi is tougher, especially if you don't know how to play with them.

Lebmont also has an advantage for his ranged attacks and long ranged when using piercing shot or hunter's mark.

Hope this is another answer to anonymous.

  9. Hi nick
For me elf is the best hero! Can u teach me how to build a perfect tablet thanks !

  10. i have lebmont and kagax. i like both but i think kagax will be able to kill lebmont once he is leveled simply because he is fast and he has an immortality skill at lvl 6 which also allows him to heal by 50% of the damage received. so i think eventually kagax is stronger.
