Skill Combinations For PVP, Strategy

HOC Heroes Of Order And Chaos: Elemental Lord (Phantasm) Migrove Guide

Attacking Strategy I (level 5 & under)

  1. Cast Bioluminescence when enemy Hero is standing still.
  2. Cast Tidal Wave.
  3. Use Normal Attacks to finish enemy Hero.
Bioluminescence > Tidal Wave > Normal Attacks

This works well against all Heroes. If enemy Hero is moving, casting Bioluminescence can be tricky and you might miss your target, especially if the enemy Hero is running through enemy NPC soldiers. Cast Tidal Wave immediately after casting Bioluminescence. Using this strategy, the jellyfish from Bioluminescence should hit right after Tidal Wave causing a large drop in HP for the enemy Hero. And with the slow from Bioluminescence, finishing the enemy Hero with Normal Attacks will be pretty easy.

Attacking Strategy II (level 6 & above)

  1. Cast Bioluminescence when enemy Hero is standing still.
  2. Cast Tidal Wave.
  3. Cast Shock Field.
  4. Use Normal Attacks to finish enemy Hero.
Bioluminescence > Tidal Wave > Shock Field > Normal Attacks

Casting Shock Field after the slow from Bioluminescence comes in effect gives Shock Field a higher chance of hitting the enemy. If you cast Shock Field on a running enemy Hero, you're likely to miss.

Retreating Strategy
  • Cast Bioluminescence to slow enemy Hero.
  • Cast Tidal Wave to slow enemy Hero.
Bioluminescence > Tidal Wave

Recommended Items
  • Boots of Haste
  • Squire's Wisdom
  • Ruby Ring
  • Staff of Vigor
  • Searing Orb
  • Rogan's Conviction
  • Brawler's Lament
  • Staff of Rectitude
  • The Wings of Paradise
  • Enchanter's Ring
  • Ring of Awakening
  • Boneflame Wand
Boots of Haste are cheap and can be bought at the start of the match, the extra speed they provide will get you around the map faster and run down enemy Heroes.

Squire's Wisdom can be bought at the start of the match and gives a slight damage and HP boost that will give you a slight edge over enemy Heroes that don't buy items at the start.

Ruby Ring will give you a damage boost.

Staff of Vigor will allow you to penetrate the enemy's defence so you can hit harder. It also comes with a HP boost and a small magical attack increase.

Searing Orb is available as an upgrade to Ruby Ring and Staff of Vigor, giving you a damage, HP and MP boost. And it also penetrates even more of the enemy's defence.

Rogan's Conviction is available as an upgrade to Ruby Ring, it will help you gain some HP every time you attack. It will help you stay out longer and need to return to the Life Well less often. This gives you an advantage over other players without life steal attacks. It also comes with a slight HP and Magical Attack boost.

Brawler's Lament is also available as an upgrade to Ruby Ring and gives an MP boost while retaining the Magical Attack from the Ruby Ring.

Staff of Rectitude is available as an upgrade to Rogan's Conviction and Brawler's Lament, it increases your Magical Attack and allows for even more life steal, it also gives a nice bit of HP and MP increase. Combining the life steal from Staff of Rectitude with the Attack Speed of The Wings of Paradise, you'll be stealing lots of life giving you a nice advantage.

The Wings of Paradise provide an attack speed boost which means even more damage.

Enchanter's Ring will give you a large damage boost and combined with the attack speed of the Wings Of Paradise means you'll be doing lots of damage, fast.

Boneflame Wand will help you regenerate MP and gives you a nice skill cooldown which means you'll be able to cast your spells more often.

With this item combination of speed, HP, MP, damage boosts, life steal, MP regeneration and decreased skill cooldown time, Migrove will bring down enemy players in seconds. This item combination is also ideal against towers and hordes of enemy soldiers.

Item Purchase Strategy
  1. Buy 1 Boots of Haste before the match starts.
  2. Buy 1 Squire's Wisdom before the match starts.
  3. Buy 1 Ruby Ring.
  4. Buy 1 Staff of Vigor.
  5. Upgrade 1 Ruby Ring and 1 Staff of Vigor to 1 Searing Orb.
  6. Buy 1 Rogan's Conviction.
  7. Buy 1 Brawler's Lament.
  8. Upgrade 1 Rogan's Conviction and 1 Brawler's Lament to 1 Staff of Rectitude.
  9. Buy 1 The Wings of Paradise.
  10. Buy 1 Enchanter's Ring.
  11. Upgrade 1 Enchanter's Ring to 1 Boneflame Wand.
We have found this strategy to be the most effective as it maintains a balance of attack speed, damage, life steal, HP & MP boosts and MP regeneration while maximising the limited gold that is available.

  1. Migrove is my favorite hero! He can shoot from afar and has great advantages- and he is cheap to buy!

  4. Leave the 2 bottom skills on level 1 until u max the passive. The top skill should be the last thing u max. That passive in the beginning is deadly or you will find urself running away in the start.
