MATERIALS NEEDED
matte black nail polish |
rose-gold nail polish (fine shimmer) |
yellow-gold nail polish (fine shimmer) |
STEP 1
After applying your base coat, apply matte black nail polish to all nails.
STEP 2
Using the rose-gold nail polish, scrape off as much of the nail polish as possible from the brush. Apply sparingly, creating a somewhat messy half moon shape.
STEP 3
Using the dotting tool or toothpick, create dots that form a half moon.
To do so, drip a drop of gold nail polish on a sheet of paper and pick up some polish using the dotting tool or toothpick.
I did mine with a toothpick. Using the broader end of the toothpick, I created big dots at the bottom-center, and reduced the size of the dots as I moved towards the sides and free edge by using the pointed end of the toothpick instead.
STEP 4
Create another 2-3 dots randomly on the rest of each nail. And you're done!
"Hope you guys enjoyed this tutorial. After reading some reviews on L'Oréal Paris Color Riche Le Nail Art Stickers, I decided to paint my nails rather than buy the stickers.
Would you purchase the stickers or paint your nails? I'll love to know!"
Xoxo, Karen
