INFO ABOUT BEADS OF CAMBAY
Beads Of Cambay offers a variety of plated copper based beads, as well as semi-precious stones and freshwater pearls.

Each set of 10 buttons retails for USD15.00. Beads Of Cambay's product image accurately represents the item we received in all areas except colour. The colour of the product we received was darker and more intense compared to the product image.
CONCLUSIONS
These buttons are copper based beads with gunmetal/ black gold plating, the copper center of the buttons give them a nice weight, which I feel, is good for jewellery making as it makes jewellery fall nicely when worn.
Like many plated materials, polishing is not recommended. Polishing will strip the plating and expose the core material. To prevent the buttons from tarnishing, I keep mine in zip-lock bags with anti-tarnish tabs. But I do feel that these buttons tarnish less compared to Beads Of Cambay's nuggets if not properly stored.
